Why would my battery be boiling within a hour of the rv plugged in?

Woke up at 2 am this morning with a beep noise. Camand said low battery, hopefully I accidentally left it in the off position. These batteries are not cheap.
If my RV is plugged into shore power for the winter, should the battery switch be on or off? Thank you.
I am going to use a Eco Flow Delta pro 3 solar generator. I will plug the trailer into the 30a out on the Eco Flow, so the trailer will run off of the solar generator. I can run the microwave, single air, etc.. I think I should turn the battery switch OFF so that the Eco Flow will NOT run the battery charger, to charge the house battery. I do not want to drain the Eco Flow, to charge the house battery.
