please educate me on how to set my fresh water to be in use, because I filled my tank and is still showing fresh water 0% ,grey water 0% and black water 78%.thank you

Thanks for this tip, just one question: if we use a lot of city water and or fill up our tanks a few times where does the water go? Into the grey tank right? I pick up our new RV today and wouldn’t the Grey tank just fill up after 3 or 4 showers?
RV newbie here. when i’m running on city water is there any strain to the pump if im not actively using water or should i shut the pump/water off when not in use?
Question. Do we need the water pump turned on if we connect to city water ?
