My travel trailer toy hauler didn’t come with stabilizing or leveling jacks. So, I purchased some on Amazon. This video shows step by step instructions on how to install jacks on the bottom of your trailer. These scissor Jacks make a huge difference. Stabilizing jacks keep the trailer from bouncing while you walk around inside.
Are Stabilizing/leveling Jacks worth it?
Yes!! Absolutely they are. I have been camping with mine now and they make a huge difference, it is much more comfortable inside. its completely solid and doesn’t bounce at all when you walk around.

  1. My travel trailer came with two rear stabilizer jacks only. They were mounted at the end of the frame at the rear bumper. I mounted the mounted two new ones on the front at the end of the frame rails the same as the rear factory installed ones. It’s always a good idea to center punch where you will be drilling new holes to prevent the drill bit from wandering.

  2. Great video short sweet to the point! I didn’t know what that bit was for 🤦‍♀️ makes sense. I’m going to do the install now, safety first thanks! 😁
