If you’re like us, you may be tired of the inefficient stock vent fan in your camper. We decided to upgrade ours to the Vortex Vent Fan, and it was one of the better decisions we’ve made on our travel trailer!
We have been really happy with our fan choice. You can see current pricing and availability here:
We chose the Vortex Vent Fan because it would fit into the space without needing to take off and modify the roof vent. Other fans on the market to require that, and for us, that was more than we wanted to do.

Since Adam wasn’t able to trade his rib for third arm, you will probably need help.
But, if you want to go it alone, remove the screen, get a long Zip tie, hang the new fan (low) on the remaining cross bar (after old motor removal) and hook up your wires. Zip tie the motor wires to the cross bar then place fan in position on the hand crank shaft. Tighten up the Zip tie and put in fan set Screws. Cut Zip tie put on screen and mount the finish trim.
All done from the floor by yourself.
